With great passion in teaching music, our goal is to provide the opportunity to everyone to learn and enjoy music through our friendly and encouraging teachers. We believe the great learning experiences can stimulate pupils’ musical potential. Futhermore, we aim to provide excellent quality of musical lessons affordable for everyone.

Dr. Heng-Ching Fang (Ching)

Ching is a pianist and string player (Violin and Viola) living and working in the West Midlands & Yorkshire. She has performed at various venues and won several competitions. Started to learn piano from age 4, and violin (viola) from age 9, she is the prize winner of the Leeds Chamber Orchestra Soloist Competition, finalist in the Ludlow Philharmonic Competition, the First Prize in the Taipei West District Viola Competition and third-prize winner of the National Viola Competition.  After her study at Taipei Municipal Teacher’s College (BMus in Music Education, with Government Scholarship), Birmingham Conservatoire (PGDip, with international scholarship), and the Guildhall School of Music (MMus, with full GSMD funded scholarship), Ching also gained a PhD Degree ( received scholarship from The Aidan Woodcock Charity and Kathleen & Margery Elliott Scholarship Trust) from the University of Leeds.  During her doctoral candidature she was the recipient of two prestigious and highly competitive research awards: a British Woman Foundation Fund Scholarship Award and a Music and Letters award from the Oxford Journals.

Ching has been invited to play with the Macau Orchestra, Chiemi Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, Leeds Baroque Orchestra, Pacific Music Festival, Schleswig Holstein Music Festival, London Charity Orchestra, Asian Young Orchestra and toured in Europe and Asia. Heng-Ching and organist Daniel Gordon have recorded the Treeness, which was dedicated by composer Nigel Morgan, and commissioned by the A-R Editions Inc., and published in 2008.
